Also On The Ballot: Statewide Prop About The Adirondacks?

There is a somewhat confusing statewide proposition on the ballot, about allowing a state forest area in the Adirondacks to have an Olympic winter sports complex there in Essex County.  It’s a yes or no vote on allowing state forest land to add 2,500 acres at Adirondack State Park.  The reason this is a statewide prop and not a local issue referendum for Essex County only, is because it’s state forest land, which is being voted on. Therefore it’s a statewide prop.
