Former WVIN News Reporter/Anchor, Has Passed Away

We’re sorry to report that longtime Wellsville based news reporter, Michael Baldwin, who did news reports on local radio stations for years, has died.  Michael Baldwin was the founder of WJQZ Radio in Wellsville and worked for many years in radio news, both across the southern tier and in other states as well.  Michael Baldwin was 63 years old.

Route 54A In Pulteney Is Closed For The Rest Of The Month

Part of Route 54A in the Town of Pulteney is closed today.  The New York State D.O.T. says there are detours on Routes 78, 74, 33 and 32.  The Department of Transportation says this is expected to last for the next three weeks.

 

Speeding Past Stopped School Buses Over In Hornell

In Hornell, Police Chief Ted Murray says, he’s gotten numerous complaints about drivers speeding past stopped school buses.  The Hornell Police are having extra patrols go out there during mornings and afternoons because of this.  

 

Paws For Reading Event Is Next Saturday In Bath

The Dormann Library in Bath is having “Paws for Reading”, this coming Saturday, the 13th, from 11am to noon. People are encouraged to bring along a dog and read to it, at the Dormann Library this Saturday.
