Bath Village Hall Wants To Know: Are Any More Businesses/Organizations Interested In The Possibilty, Of Getting NY Forward Money?

New School Superintendent, New School Clerk

There is a new school superintendent at Avoca Central.  His name is Matt Pfleegor.  Pfleegor took over for Steve Saxton, as Saxton’s retirement from Avoca, went into effect a week and a half ago.  There is also a new school district clerk, at Hammondsport Central.  Her name is Holly Badeau.  Holly took over recently as Hammondsport Central’s Clerk, taking the place of  Nancy Clark, as Clark’s retirement went into effect on June 30. 

 

Music In The Park Starts Tonight At 6:00

Bath Mayor Michael Sweet says, music in the Park, starts tonight, at 6:00pm at Pulteney Park.  Tonight it will be Logan Route.  The mayor says Logan Route will be doing a lot of country music covers.

 

Senator Schumer: On Cuts To PBS, NPR

The Hillcom reports that Democrat Senate Leader Chuck Schumer says, if the Republicans cut $1.1 billion dollars in funding to PBS and NPR and $8.3 billion dollars in foreign aid, then the Congressional Republicans will lose any goodwill from the Dems when negotiating the 12 spending bills.  Click here to read more from The Hill.com.
