Road Closure Coming Up In Thurston

Steuben County Department of Public Works Commissioner Eric Rose says, County Route 12, that’s the Savona-Thurston Road, in the Town of Thurston, will be closed from Star Road to Dee Road.   The road work will be from Monday July 7^th through Wednesday July 9^th between 7am and 3:30pm each day.  Rose also says, crews will be replacing a culvert pipe, and that there will not be an on-site detour.

A New York State Department Of Transportation Notice

The D.O.T. says they’re going to be working in Riverside from today through Friday, 6am to 6pm each day.  That will be on part of Route 415 and Route 352.  The D.O.T. says there will be paving and that also, they will at some point, be closing down the ramp at Exit 45 on I-86 for some brief paving work.

 

Allard: Watch Out For These Scams

Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard says there are some phone scams going on.  The sheriff says, the callers pretend to be from Amazon, the Justice Department and the Addison Police Department.
