Tax Bills Might Come Up At A Steuben County Administation Meeting Tommorrow 

The Steuben County Administration Committee meets tomorrow morning.  On the agenda, there will be discussion about possibly hiring a new assistant district attorney.  The county administration committee will also likely, be talking about  some of the county tax bills being sent out late in the mail. 

 

Hornell Manufacturer To Get A $236,000 State Grant

In Hornell, industrial fabric manufacturing company Stern and Stern, just found out they’re getting a grant from the state.  That’s according to Steuben County Industrial Development Agency Director Jamie Johnson.  The county IDA leader also says, the money will be used for purchasing new equipment.

 

Palmesano Once Again Is Named To The #2 Spot

Corning Republican Assemblyman Phil Palmesano has been reappointed as state assembly assistant leader, that’s the number two post for the Republicans in the assembly.   

Since being elected to the Assembly in 2010, Phil Palmesano has delivered for the people of his district and continues to be one of the most valuable members of our Conference. We must work together to prioritize and address the affordability, public safety and quality-of-life crisis that is plaguing our families and communities throughout the state in the upcoming 2025 Legislative Session,” added Palmesano.

Congressman Nick Langworthy says, if you’ve got an issue with a government office that you need help on, feel free to call his Corning office.  The number for the congressman’s Corning office is 607 377 3130.  Also, Senator Tom O’Mara recently said, his office hours are continuing in Bath this year.  That’s on 105 East Steuben Street in Bath.
