Some Steuben County Tax Bills Are Delayed In Arriving 

County tax bills from Steuben County, usually arrive in the mail around January 4 or 5, but for some people this year, due to what's being called, a computer software program glitch, some residents have not yet, received their county taxes bill.  This has some people asking, if their tax bill from Steuben County arrives late in the mail, can they have an extension on paying their taxes?  Steuben County Manager Jack Wheeler says, that will be discussed by the county lawmakers next week.
 

Literacy Kits At The Dormann Library

Officials with the Dormann Library in Bath say, their Discovery Kids Early Literacy Program received a grant from the southern Tier Library, to develop 200 Early Literacy kits.  The kits are designed for families with children aged birth to 5 years old.  To find out more, please contact the Dormann Library. 

 

Traffic TIckets During The Christmas/New Years Holidays

Governor Kathy Hochul says, during the state police holiday enforcement campaign, troopers issued over 23,000 speeding tickets and over 4,000 traffic tickets for move over violations and over 4,00 traffic tickets for distracted driving violations.
