Bath Rotary Gives To The Canisteo-Greenwood School
Recently, the Bath Rotary Club gave a check for flood damage relief, to the Canisteo Rotary Club. Bath Rotary Club President-elect and former Canisteo resident Eddie VanStine says, supporting our neighbors is not just an act of kindness, it is a way of life. It was on August 9, that Canisteo and other towns were hit so hard by the remnants of Tropical Storm Deby.
Campbell Town Hall is Hiring A Court Clerk
The Campbell Town Board is looking to hire a new clerk for their town court. The job is 32 hours a week, Monday through Thursday 8am to 4pm. Update On The Friday Night Gang Assault Case In Corning. A 19 year old Rochester male was arraigned and released A 21 year old Rochester male was arraigned and released. The other three, two 18 year olds from the Syracuse area and a Bronx teenage male, have been charged and released. Troopers reported on Friday night that after the incident, which was said to have happened at a dorm at Corning Community, an 18 year old female victim was taken to Guthrie. An 18 year old male who was reportedly also hurt, was said to have refused medical treatment.
Congresswoman Claudia Tenney Votes For VA Legislation
Congresswoman Claudia Tenney recently voted for the Senator Elizabeth Dole Veterans Healthcare and Benefits Improvement Act. Tenney says, this bill expands home and community based services at every VA, allowing veterans to get more medical care in their own homes. "This bill expands home and community-based services at every VA center, allowing our veterans the dignity of receiving care in their own homes," Tenney said. "This bill is a crucial step toward honoring our promise to those who have served, ensuring they receive the timely, efficient, and comprehensive support they have earned."
