Schoonver Was Found Guilty By The Jury Yesterday 

In Steuben County Court, on Friday afternoon, Bath resident Larry Schoonover was found guilty on all 32 counts.  That includes 12 counts of attempted 1st degree murder.  That’s according to DA Brooks Baker.  Baker also says, the verdict is justice for both the neighbors and the members of the state police, the sheriff’s department, and the Bath village police who were shot at during the standoff in August of 2023.  

 

New Apts Coming To Bath In 2024
On the Dana Lyons school project, Steuben County Industrial Development Agency Director Jamie Johnson says there will be 49 residential units, when the work is all finished. 

 

Gov. Hochul: Flags Are At Half Staff Today

Governor Kathy Hochul wants flags on state buildings will be flown at half-staff starting at sunrise today in honor of New York State Thruway Authority employee Stephen Ebling. The goveror says that Stephen  Ebling was killed on the Thruway in the Town of Hanover on November 4, in a move-over violation accident.
