A Bomb Threat In Bath 

State Police say that yesterday, they got a call from the D.E.C. saying that a bomb threat was emailed to the Department of Environmental Conservation Office in Bath.  Troopers say they searched the D.E.C. building and found no explosives.  The State Police also say, the investigation continues.
 

The D.E.C. And A Chemung County Pet Owner 

Late last week, the Department of Environmental Conservation did, what’s being described as a five hour raid late last week at a home in Chemung County, and putting down a raccoon and a squirrel named Peanut.  That story has been mentioned by numerous national media outlets and commentators. 

 

Early Voting Ended Sunday/The Official Election Is Tuesday

Early voting ended yesterday at 5pm.  The official election day is tomorrow, Tuesday November 5.  Voting hours tomorrow, will be 6am-9pm.   

 

Larry Schoonover Trial Continues In The County Court
The Larry Schoonover trial resumes today in Steuben County Court.    He’s facing numerous charges, including two counts of 1st degree attempted murder of a police officer.
