Steuben County Sheriff's Department's Statement About School Death Threats In Chemung County
The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office says, there have been death threats made online, to a school in Elmira. The sheriff says these threats made to the Elmira school and other schools elsewhere, do not appear to be related, and Sheriff Allard says, there have been no direct threats to any schools in Steuben County. The sheriff’s department says they will monitor these investigations and take any appropriate action to safeguard our local schools. Sheriff Allard requests that parents remind their students to report any concerning behavior immediately to a responsible adult or appropriate first responders, and also, to remember that school is still one of the safest places to be.

Bath School News: School Officials Say That There Is An Ongoing Traffic Study And A Senior Trip
Officials with the Bath Central School District says, there’s a traffic study going on this week. Also, Bath School officials say that there will be a mandatory senior trip informational meeting a week from today at 7:45pm in room 166, the High School Choir Room.

Some Road Closings In Woodhull, Wed And Thurs
County Route 100, in the Town of Woodhull, will be closed to all traffic from CR127 to CR101, on Wednesday, September 18 thru Thursday, September 19, from 8am-3pm both days. Also, County Route 101, in the Town of Woodhull, will be closed to all traffic from Mutton Hill Road to Pennsylvania Line, Wednesday, September 18 from 8:00am to 3:00pm. The road will be closed in order to replace a pipe. There will not be an onsite detour, please plan accordingly.
