Langworthy, Schumer, Gillibrand React To Sunday Shooting Incident At The Trump Golf Course
Congressman Nick Langworthy is calling on the president to get more security protection for former President Donald Trump, while he’s on the campaign trail. "The recurring political violence targeting President Trump is unacceptable and deeply un-American — this is not who we are as a nation, and it cannot be tolerated under any circumstances," Langworthy said. From Senator Gillibrand; “I’m grateful that former President Trump is safe, and I’m thankful to the Secret Service and local law enforcement for responding swiftly. Political violence has absolutely no place in our country.”
From Senator Schumer: I applaud the Secret Service for their quick response to ensure former President Trump’s safety. There is no place in this country for political violence of any kind. The perpetrator must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
