Early Voting Starts In October Here In Steuben County

Early voting for Steuben County voters will begin on October 26^t.  Early voting will be held at the usual places: the county annex building in Bath, the Community Arts Center on Broadway in Hornell, and the Civic Center in Corning.

State Law On Vaccines For Returning 7th & 12 Graders 

Steuben County Public Health says, students returning to public and private school, going into 7^th grade need a meningitis vaccine and those going into 12th grader will need the second dose of the meningitis vaccine.  According to one local school nurse and an official with Steuben County Public Health, this is a requirement because of a state law.

 

Two Big Upcoming Events In Steuben County In August

In Steuben County, lots of people are looking forward to the month of August which is just a couple of days away.  That’s because with the month of August comes the Steuben County Fair and Smoke on the Water.  The Steuben County Fair is August 12-18 in Bath.  Also, Smoke on the Water is August 24 from Noon till 8:00pm in Hammondsport1.
