Fratto's Fundraiser & Tenney's Trump Rally

The primary between Republican Congresswoman Claudia Tenney and her Ontario County opponent Republican Mario Fratto, is this coming Tuesday, June 25.  Tenney has had Ohio Republican Congressman Jim Jordan campaigning with her in Niagara County.  She also has a telephone rally with former President Donald Trump tonight at 6:30pm.  Voters across the district can dial in to join President Trump and Rep. Tenney by dialing #855-962-127, at 6:30PM.

 

Mario Fratto has been campaigning in Wayne, Genesee and Ontario Counties recently.   He also held a fundraiser on Wednesday night.  "What an incredible fundraiser we had last night in Geneva," Fratto said on his FB page. "150 people came out to support us and we hit our fundraising goal for our final push! Thank you all for the support, we are truly blessed," said Fratto.  

 

The new congressional district covers a lot of areas across the state.  Counties in the  new 24^th Congressional District are: Jefferson, Oswego, Wayne, Seneca, Ontario, Yates, Livingston and Orleans Counties.  Also the new 24^th will have the following Steuben County towns: Wayland, Dansvile, Cohocton, Avoca, Pulteney and Prattsburgh.  

Hochul And Gillibrand And Social Media Law

Democrat Governor Kathy Hochul signed a law yesterday to require social media companies to restrict what she calls addictive feeds, from teens under the age of 18.   The new law also requires social media companies to ask for proof of age. And it would make it so teens cannot get notifications from social media feeds, between midnight and 6am.  In a somewhat related story, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand says she supports the US Surgeon General’s idea of having tobacco style warnings for the youths who go on social media.
