Bath Police: Serious Charges For A Howard Teenage Boy

The Bath Police Department arrested Tyler Evans, 19, of the Town of Howard.  Bath Police allege that Evans was creating child pornography and putting the images on the internet.  The charges against Tyler Evans are four counts of obscene sexual performance of a child and six counts of unlawful publication of an intimate image.  Police Chief Colin Taft says some of the alleged victims, were from Bath.  Tyler Evans was arraigned and released.  Bath Police say they will be assisted by the FBI to seek further charges.  Bath Police are thanking the Steuben County Sheriff’s Department and the State Police Computer Crime Unit for their assistance in this case.   

 

Early Voting Starts This Saturday For June 25 Primaries  Early voting is open every day for those nine days and that’s at the Steuben County Annex Building at 20 East Morris Street in Bath.  Hours are 9am-5pm every day but Tuesdays and Thursdays.  On Tuesdays and Thursdays early voting is noon until 8pm.  On Primary Day - June 25,  you should vote at your regular voting location (and that’s for only those towns having a primary).  

Here’s the list of primaries: there’s the congressional primary between Congresswoman Claudia Tenney and her GOP opponent Mario Fratto.  That’s in Avoca, Cohocton, Dansville, Prattsburgh, Pulteney, Wayland and Wheeler.  The other primaries are for: Bath Town Clerk, Wheeler Town Board and Wheeler Highway Superintendent. 

 

Schumer: GOP Might Want To Take Away IVF

Democrat US Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer says a Republican committee is pushing an agenda to ban invitro fertilization.  Schumer says the Senate Democrats will protect IVF.  "  Millions of Americans have the joy of children thanks to IVF.   This week, the Senate will vote on the Right to IVF Act."

 

Palmesano: WGI To Allow Military In Free On June 23

GOP Assemblyman Phil Palmesano says on Sunday, June 23^rat Watkins Glen International, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Lot 5 parking area. All military personnel and veterans will be admitted into the facility free of charge, and one guest will also be allowed into the facility. Military personnel will need to show their Military ID to receive their free admission. Veterans can show their DD214 or their discharge papers.
