Memorial Day 2024 Video, From Republican Congressman Nick Langworthy

Gov. Kathy Hochul VIsits Two Western New York Counties 

Democrat Governor Kathy Hochul was in Orleans County on Saturday and Wayne County on Sunday.  Also the governor pardoned 13 prisoners on Friday.  Most of the prisoners who were pardoned were low level drug offenders. 

 

It's Not Likely That Prisoners Will Be Voting In November

Last week, Republican State Senator Tom O’Mara warned that Albany Democrats in the state legislature were trying to pass a law to make it so prisoners could vote from inside of jail.  However, the latest on that is that today the Gothamist reports that that legislation does not have enough support to get passed or signed into law.  Click here for full story.

 

Who Makes More Annually And Who Has More In the Bank? The Dem Senate Candidate Or The GOP Candidate?  

Newsday reports that Democrat US Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and her GOP opponent Mike Sapricone, released their financial disclosure reports recently.  Gillibrand makes $174,000 in the US Senate and has somewhere between one and five million dollars in the bank.  Sapricone makes $300,000 a year running a security company and has between ten and eleven million dollars in the bank.  Click here for full story.

 

A Farm Fire Over The Weekend Here In Steuben County

There was a fire at a farm in the Steuben County Town of Wayne.  That was in the 2:00 hour on Saturday afternoon.  No word yet on damage or injuries, though we do know the fire was in a silo.
