The Laying Of The Wreaths Event Is Today In Bath
The laying of the wreaths takes place today at the Bath National Cemetery. Those who are attending the event, should arrive by 11:30am this morning. It begins at 12:00 Noon.
34 Year Old Bath Man Charged After 911 Call
Bath Village Police report that the Steuben County 9-1-1 got a call from someone saying that an officer was down. They say after that, the caller hung up. Officials say the caller’s complaint was untrue. Bath Police say they charged 34 year old Thomas Popps of Bath, with 3rd degree falsely reporting an incident.
Police: A Chase That Started In Corning, Ended in Bath
Corning Police are reporting on a chase that went from Corning, into Painted post, into Erwin and then Campbell and ended in Bath. Corning Police say the suspect, Kaylee Brooks, 25, of Corning, is charged with Grand Larceny in the Third Degree, and was arraigned and released without bail. Corning Police were assisted by the Steuben County Sheriff’s Road Patrol in this chase.
