Longtime U.S. Senator In California Has Died

New York Democrat, U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, put out a statement about the death of California U.S. Senator Diane Feinstein.  Gillibrand says quote: “Diane Feinstein was a force to be reckoned with.  She was one of the most powerful voices in the Senate, and she blazed a trail for generations of women who followed her into elected office.  I was so grateful to have her as my role model, my mentor and a dear friend.”

 

Governor Hochul: Heavy Rains Hit NYC Today 

Governor Kathy Hochul is focused on the New York City weather conditions today, and has numerous tv and radio appearances lined up on New York City and Albany media outlets, to discuss the latest there.


Troopers Report A Zany Chase In The City of Rochester 

State Police are reporting a wild chase in the City of Rochester.  Troopers say that a suspect who state police were attempting to pull over, put his vehicle in reverse and drove away quickly, striking a school bus and another vehicle.  Troopers also say, the suspect then intentionally rammed into two police vehicles.  The driver was stopped after tire deflating devices were put down on the street.  The suspect is a 33 year old Rochester man who is facing numerous charges.

Bath Electric Water and Gas is doing work today on Allen, Main and Vermont Streets water, and there will be more work on those streets next week, on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
