21 Year Old Pulteney Man Dies In Yates Co Accident

 

From The Yates Co Sheriffs' Dept:   

On September 23rd around 2:10am Yates County Sheriff’s Deputies along with Benton Fire Department, Penn Yan Ambulance and the Office of Emergency Management responded to Gorham Rd in the Town of Benton for a one car MVA. Investigation revealed that Tyler Williams was traveling east bound on Gorham Road when he lost control of his vehicle and went off of the south shoulder. Williams then over corrected, resulting in his vehicle traveling back across the roadway to the North shoulder were the vehicle began to overturn into the field. Williams was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Investigation is ongoing at this time.

 

New Office Manager For Hammondsport Chamber

The Board of Directors of the Greater Hammondsport Chamber of  Commerce has announced they have a new Office Manager: Corrine Hetherington.  She is a Hammondsport native who comes to the Chamber a background in retail sales, customer service, inventory control, management in both the retail and food service industries, and event coordination.  Hetherington has an Associates degree in Business Administration, and they say she is excited to bring her skills to a the Hammondsport Chamber.  

 

Old Bath Police Car Up For Sale In Online Auction

The Bath Village Police Department is putting one of their old police cars up for bid online.  It’s a 2019 Dodge Charger.  This Dodge Charger is up for bid until tomorrow evening at  6pm.
