Noise Complaint In Elmira, Gets Even Worse

Elmira Police report, they got a call about a loud party, and when they got there, had to call in the swat team to get several hostages out.  Police say the hostages were being held in the upstairs of the home, by a suspect that was already wanted on a warrant.  Over a period of hours, the hostages escaped and the suspect was charged.     

 

State Police: Car Rams Into House In Cohocton

State Troopers report that a vehicle crashed into a house on State Route 21 in the town of Cohocton. Troopers identified the operator and subsequently arrested Willis D. Laplant, age 41 of Atlanta, for Driving While Intoxicated, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st Degree, a Class E Felony, and other traffic violations.  Laplant was issued an appearance ticket.
