New State Police Academy Graduates  

The New York State Police graduation ceremony was held this morning in Albany.   Local Trooper graduates include: Connor Laurey and Casey Watson of Horseheads, Brent Sleve of Savona, John Everett of Elmira Heights, Zachary Hugg of Elmira. 


Dormann Library Creating A New Space At The Library

In Bath this morning, the Dormann Library announced that they’re creating a new space at the library, for people of all ages.  In a statement, a library spokesperson said: "This professionally designed space will include multiple play, gathering, and relaxation spaces for people of all ages and mobilities. There will be something for everyone.”  

New Laws, As A Result Of May 14 Mass Shooting In Buffalo

Governor Hochul and State Attorney General Leticia James announced today that they want to pass laws to force online companies to crack down on video streaming shooting incidents.  That’s because of the May 14th mass shooting of African Americans at a grocery store in Buffalo.

 

Hochul Vs Zeldin: Most Pollsters Say - It's A TIght Race

Most polls out about the governor’s race show that it’s a tight race between Democrat Governor Kathy Hochul and Republican Congressman Lee Zeldin. Most polls have Hochul several points ahead, Hochul is four points ahead of Zeldin in a new poll that came out today.
