The Veggie Van Was A Big Summer Hit In Steuben County

Over the summer months, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Steuben County partnered with the Office for the Aging, the Corning Foundation, and Lowery Family Farms to provide a Veggie Van that could bring the produce stand right near people’s homes.  The Veggie Van stopped by Caton, Addison, Greenwood, Campbell, Bradford, Wayne, Pulteney, Avoca and Cohocton.  It stopped for two hours in each town, every time it came to a Steuben County Town.  Officials say, it was a major success.

 

The Sheriff's Showdown Is Going On Today At WGI! 

The New York State Sheriff’s Showdown is going on today at Watkins Glen, and it goes until 7:00 tonight – the sheriff’s showdown is all day charity races with sheriff’s from across new York state – including our own Sheriff, Jim Allard!

 

The Latest Update On Conceal Carry Courtroom Cases

An appeals court judge has ruled that Governor Kathy Hochul’s Concealed Carry Law, is now restored the law, in its entirety.  Governor Kathy Hochul issued a statement, saying that her Concealed Carry Law, will stay intact, during the appeals process.  Assemblyman Phil Palmesano says, this will be in and out of numerous courtrooms, until a case makes it’s way to the U.S. Supreme Court in Washington.
