Governor Kathy Hochul: Zeldin And Trump Are Not NY'ers

Albany reporter Jon Campbell was at a rally where Gov. Kathy Hochul was speaking last night.  The Albany reporter is quoting the governor,  as saying, Republicans Donald Trump and Lee Zeldin are "not New Yorkers" and suggested they should "go to Florida where they belong."  Hochul continued, “It’s simple: If you don't support abortion rights, environmental protections, or commonsense gun safety measures, you have no place leading New York.”   Congressman Lee Zeldin responded in disbelief:  "The governor of the State of New York says that if you disagree with her that you need to leave the state?  Get on a bus and go - you're not a New Yorker?  And (if) you plan on voting Republican, (do) you have to leave too, you're not a New Yorker?  What if you're one of those disenfranchised Democrats?  There are many Democrats who are upset with Kathy Hochul.  And all those people are planning on voting Republican this November?  What - they're not New Yorkers and they have to leave?"
