Stop DWI Labor Day Campaign - From Bath Police
The Village of Bath Police Department will be participating in the statewide STOP-DWI Labor Day High Visibility Engagement Campaign. The campaign started on August 19th, 2022 and will end on September 5, 2022.  

 

Covid Update From Steuben County Public Health

85 new COVID cases have been reported since Wednesday's update. We are happy to see that Steuben has dropped back down into the low community level.  If anyone is seeking COVID vaccines or other back to school vaccines, our next immunization clinic is tomorrow, Tuesday, August 23 from 2-5 pm. Call our office at 607-664-2438 to schedule an appointment today.

State police report that an 18 year old Hornell teenager, was in an accident on the Turnpike Road in Howard last night in the 8:00 hour. 

 

Ambulance Service And Who Pays For It Around Hornell

The Steuben County Public Safety Committee meets today, at that meeting, Mayor John Buckley is talking about how towns south of Canisteo, are getting ambulance service from Hornell.  

 

Endorsements & Other Last Minute Aug 23rd Related News

Hornell Mayor John Buckley endorsed Joe Sempolinski today.  Sempolinski is the Republican candidate for the unfinished Tom Reed seat, that's the old 23 Congressional District.  Also, over the weekend, Sempolinski’s opponent, Democrat Max Della Pia, was endorsed by both Governor Kathy Hochul and State Comptroller Tom Dinapoli.  As for Republican Nick Langworthy, who is running in the Tuesday primary, Langworthy is in Cuba today doing last minute campaigning in Allegany County.  Langworthy’s opponent, Carl Paladino, was endorsed on Sunday, by Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene.
