March 7, 2022 Steuben County Covid Update

There have been 45 new positive COVID tests reported since Friday's update. Sadly, another resident has passed.   According to Steuben County Public Health, a 96 year old Corning man has died.

 

Work Is Going On All This Month, On Ark Street In Bath

Bath Electric, Gas and Water, are replacing the gas main on Ark Street, from West Morris Street to South Avenue, so that area will be closed off from now through the rest of the month.  If you have any questions, please call 776-2173 option 2.

 

There Will Be A St. Patricks Day Parade In Bath This Year

In Hornell, they have big Saint Patricks Day event, and they try to do this every year.  Because of Covid, Hornell has not had a St. Patricks Day parade in recent years.  However, they are having a parade and numerous parties to go with it, this Saturday, and the parade starts at 11am on Main Street in Hornell. That is according to Hornell Mayor John Buckley. 

 

Discussions Continue Between Buffalo Bills And State And Erie County

Governor Kathy Hochul says, talks continue, about building a new football stadium.  According to the governor, there will be an agreement by April 1.  Also, Hochul says that the stadium will be in Orchard Park and it won’t have a dome.
