A New Office Location For The United Way

The United Way of the Southern Tier has moved their office to the second floor of the Baron Steuben Building in Centerway Square at 1 West Market Street in Corning, above the Old World Cafe.  The United Way’s Office is open from 9pm-4pm weekdays and parking is available on Market Street and surrounding areas.   

 

The Circus Is Coming To Bradford This Evening

Bradford Central School officials say, the Billy Martin, Cole Brothers Circus coming to the school today to perform at 630pm.  As such, the Bobcats Program was cancelled for today and the Bradford Central School Fitness Center will be closed today. 

 

NYSEG Is Holding A Meeting Thursday In Corning

New York State Electric And Gas is having a community meeting on Thursday at the Corning American Legion, from 4pm – 7pm.  If you have questions about your bill or want to find out about assistance programs, this would be a good meeting to attend.

Chemung County Sheriff Wants To Find This Suspect

The Chemung County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a suspect who claimed to work for Geek Squad and Best Buy.  This suspect is accused of scamming a senior citizen by taking money from that senior in exchange for doing computer work.  If you know anything about this incident, please contact the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office at 607 737 2933.
