Steuben County Legislatures's Plan To Help Farmers
Steuben County Legislative Chair Kelly Fitzpatrick says, the county is putting money into the soil and water department, with the intent of helping local farmers. "We just approved more funding for Steuben County Soil And Water," Fitzpatrick tells WVIN. "The Soil And Water Dept. does a lot of projects with stream bank stabilization, they do agricultural projects, and those kinds of investments benefit all of us in the county. Most people that have lived here for a long time know that agriculture is one of our main industries in Steuben County. So anything we can do to invest in that, is a good thing," Fitzpatrick said.
