Flags Are Now At Half-Staff In New York State

The governor has ordered that flags across New York State be at half staff, until further notice, in remembrance of the New York State residents in Israel, who are now dead, or have been kidnapped. 

 

Walk To End Alsheimers, This Weekend, At W.G.I. 

Ira Davenport Hospital officials in Bath say, Arnot Ogden representatives will be taking part in the Walk To End Alsheimers this Saturday, at Watkins Glen International.  That walk will be at 4pm at Watkins Glen. 

 

The Hammondsport Sports Merger Info-Meeting Is Tonight

The Hammondsport School District will be having that informational meeting at 630pm, at the school auditorium, about a potential sports merger, for Hammondsport.  The Hammondsport School Superintendent seems to indicate in his online postings, that he’s hoping for a sports merger with the Bath school district.  Also, Hammondsport will be having their regular monthly school board meeting on Wednesday October 18^th, at 600pm in the high school library.   

 

There's Home Safety Forums Coming Up In Bath
Steuben County officials say there’s going to be forums on Safety, these forums will be on October 26^th at the Cenetary United Methodist Church in Bath.  The first forum begins at 1pm, the second forum starts at 2pm.  There will be informational sessions and training, for people of all ages, and some sessions will focus on senior citizens.  Again, this will be October 26^th at the Cenetary United Methodist Church.     

 

Bath Police Chief Congratulates Sgt. Cherenowsky 

Bath Police Chief Colin Taft says, Congratulations to Acting Sergeant Cheresnowsky in completing the 2 week Instructor Development Course. She will start her instruction this Thursday with teaching the agency juvenile law and our policy as it pertains to them.
