"The Town of Urbana is pleased to announce that the boats docks located at 'Depot Park' in Hammondsport will be removed this week in preparation for the new ones to go in this coming spring 2024. There is a process that we must follow and this is getting us into position for the new sought after docks located in Depot Park. The current ones have been there for years and have finally taken their toll, we receive many complaints during the boating season on how unsafe they are.  They have become a real safety hazard and need to be gone.  The boat launch will remain open and useable and the boat launch dock will remain intact as well."
